Free-style wrestling World Championships three time bronze medallist, European Championship (1999) silver medallist .  

Weight class - 96 kg. 

V.Tassoev was born and grew up in Ossetia. The skills received in local free-style wresling school gave him a big advantage to succeed in this sport.  

Later on V.Tassoev moved to Ukraine and represented this country at the European and world competitions.
