A dominant Soviet football (soccer) player, forward of 1950-1960's 

Honored Sport Master of the USSR. 

Played for the FC "Dinamo" Tbilisi and Soviet National Team.  

One of the best strikers of the Soviet football. Scored 115 times.  

Member of the Fedotov's Club (for the players who scored more then 100 goals). 

Zaur Kaloev was two times (1959, 1960) pronounced the best footbal striker of the USSR National Championships.
