Khassan Zangiev  

(1954 - 2000) 

 

 
World class free-style wrestler. 

World Cup Champion (1979) 

European Championship runner-up (1977) 

Winner of many prestigeous international competitions. 

 

In the 1990's Zangiev worked as a coach in Alagir and Suadag, North Ossetia. 

He died in 2000.
