Akhsarov Enver

Hero of the Soviet Union 

E.Akhsarov was born in Zilga, North Ossetia.  

The commander of the 227 Infantry Regiment of the 83-th division of Voronezhsky Front, Major Akhsarov was honored with the title of Hero of the Soviet Union on January 4, 1944 (posthumously) for the personal heroism and capable management of the regiment’s action in destruction of the enemy’s forces.
