The last days before the war began... 

This young lady didn't know at the time, that in a couple of days she will hide an Ossetian man in her basement in a village occupied by Georgian troops, risking her own and her grandparents' lives 

August 7, 2008. They are sending kids to Dzhava to keep them away from the city. But early in the moning they will be bombed by Georgians there too. Who knew that things will happen this way... 

Not all children were send away. There weren't enough buses and cars.

Two elderly women were killed in this house... 

Vaso Abaev's memeorial. 

A father and his two children were inside this car, which was later shot by a Georgian tank. They were all burnt alive... 

Georgian military were fighting against these people too.

This building was burning with people sitting in the basement. They could not come out because a Georgian tank was shooting at the building from the street.
