Elbrus Chadarzev  

One of the first editors of Radio Liberty's North Caucasian Service. 

Elbrus Chadarzev was born in August 20, 1898, in Elkhot, (North Ossetia) . He was hired by Radio Liberty in May 1957 as a program specialist, and in February 1958 was promoted to chief editor. Chadarzev died in 1964.
