Doctor of Science, linguist. 

The first Ossetian professor, one of the founders of the Ossetian Historical-Philological Society. Worked on Ossetian language and literature development problems. In 1930’s was wrongfully accused in supporting the class enemies of the Soviet government and was twice exiled to Siberia.
