Dzgoev Aslambek  

(1918-1994) 

Honored Trainer of the USSR, World War 2 veteran 

Dzgoev was a founder of the Ossetian Free style wrestling school. 

He brought to the glory such outstanding wrestlers as S.Dzarasov, S.Andiev, A.Bestaev, T.Dzgoev (his son). 

Working in other regions, Aslambek Dzgoev made an enormous contribution in the Soviet free style wrestling development as well.  

For the distinguish achievments in sports A.Dzgoev was honored with many Soviet State awards and titles.
