Dzhioev Konstantin  

(1916 - ?) 

Major-general, WW2 veteran 

C.Dzhioev was born in Morgo, South Ossetia. He graduated from Rostov University. In 1940 he entered the military service. As a brave officer he participated in many battles of World War and was honored with orders and many medals, including the medal “For Courage” 

After the war was over K.Dzhioev took a course in Political-Military Academy and then he was appointed the Commander of the Antiaircraft Division’s Political Department. In 1967 he was promoted to the major–general rank.
